Our shop is now open at the Great Central Railway and you can find us at Loughborough on the footpath down to the GCR shed works (loughborough)

If you are planning to visit, do pop by our shop for a browse.

We will be open until around 2pm today Thursday 1st October. We will be open later Friday to Sunday.

This is a time-lapse video of 45035's Brick Arch being removed in early March 2019. A small leak towards the front of the firebox was found. In order to properly access the area for repairs, the brick arch needed to be removed. This process took roughly 3 hours and 3 volunteers to complete. A fantastic video put together by RailView to collate the best footage gathered on 70013 Oliver Cromwell's last day in steam.
